- A Note From the Developer -
EGRESS is my first horror game. I built it mostly as a way to learn how horror actually works, what makes something unsettling and scary instead of just loud, what a game can leave unsaid instead of explaining everything. The mechanics are intentionally simple. There's no combat, no way to fail, no systems to master or something like that. Just a small apartment, loops, and whatever you're willing to notice.
If something in here works, I'd love to know what. If something doesn't, I'd genuinely like to know that too.
